About Us


Founded in 1959, Family Counseling Service, a non-profit agency, has strived to build a better community by offering a comprehensive array of services to Reno, Sparks, and its surrounding areas for over 60 years. Family Counseling Service offers Representative Payee services that assist with bill pay and management of federal funds and benefits for individuals within our community. Family Counseling Service additionally offers Intensive Case Management services that assist with meeting the basic needs of individuals and providing them with referrals and resources when necessary. We offer a friendly, client-centered approach to our services and work to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. We believe, that with proper support, our clients can reach their full potential.
